Dear Friends and Supporters,

I have recently had a number of professional changes beyond my personal control that have caused me to refocus my time and energy.  As always, my family must remain my highest priority.  With these changes and priorities in mind, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from the City Council race for this November’s election.

I still remain committed to Redwood City and my community, and will remain on the committees where I currently serve and look forward to the day when I can again run for office.  I will continue to work with you on the things we value the most in Redwood City.

I am very grateful to everyone who has supported me during this campaign.  I do not take your support lightly and I have appreciated everything that you have done.

If you would like to talk to me further, I welcome the opportunity.  Let's continue to do great things for our city.
